Welcome to Como Lake Village Dental Centre
We are happy to announce that we are now able to welcome back our patients with some reduced capacity. The entire office has been cleaned and reorganized. There have been changes made to our office to comply with the recommendations from the Provincial Health Office and the College of Dental Surgeons. Every one entering the office, including staff and patients will undergo screening for risk factors of Covid-19 and no one considered at risk for Covid-19 will be allowed to enter the office.

The health and safety of both our patients and our staff remains our highest priority. For the safety of all of our patients and our staff, we need to ensure all patients have signed the screening and consent form before attending any dental appointments. (Available at the link above). If you are at risk for Covid-19, we will need to discuss your dental needs over the phone to determine when and how treatment can be undertaken. Upon entering our office, you will be asked to use the provided hand sanitizer and to continue to respect social distancing protocols. Prior to initiating treatment, we will be asking you to do a 60 second mouth rinse procedure.

We already used to, and will continue to, clean or sterilize everything used in our dental treatment rooms. We are now increasing the disinfection of the common areas, such as the door knobs and reception area as well. In addition to extra precautions and equipment, there will be attempts to minimize person to person contact where possible. If someone is already in our reception area, please either stand back or wait outside our front door until the area is clear or you are signaled to come inside.
Due to the extra precautions being taken and the extra time and social distancing needed, our capacity to book appointments has been reduced. We will be doing our best to help out as many of our patients as possible while still making the safety of both patients and staff our highest priority. No one will be allowed to enter the office if they are feeling unwell. That goes for staff and patients, as well as people with deliveries or those just booking appointments.
We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you again.
Take care and stay safe and remember we can still be reached by phone and email.
